Upload is running, when you see the Accepted message here, yes please
write the email to -release.

(DAMNED I HATE THE CONNECTION IN SIENA!!!
Uploading to ftp-master (via ftp to ftp-master.debian.org):
  texlive-bin_2005.dfsg.2-9.dsc: done.
  texlive-bin_2005.dfsg.2-9.diff.gz: done.
  texlive-base-bin_2005.dfsg.2-9_i386.deb: 6477k/11745k
Error '(104, 'Connection reset by peer')' during ftp transfer of texlive-base-bin_2005.dfsg.2-9_i386.deb

So I can wait until tomorrow (until old files are purged) until I do a
new upload....)

Probably worth mentioning that tetex-bin and texlive-bin ship the same
patch for dvipdfm ...
And that the mktexlsr fix is in tetex ...
And that the changes in -8 are regression fixes wrt tetex and that they
just add files.

Other thing changed since -7 (currently in etch):
texlive-bin (2005.dfsg.2-9) unstable; urgency=low

  * Apply patch by Julian Gilbey <jdg@debian.org> to prevent mktexlsr from
creating ls-R in root's home directory (closes: #402925)
  * Apply a patch by "Mark A. Wicks" <mwicks@kettering.edu> to fix a crash
of dvipdfm in half-hour timezones (Closes: #403267)

texlive-bin (2005.dfsg.2-8) unstable; urgency=low

  * move bin-ttfutils to tl-font-utils, blacklist everything but ttf2afm,
add bin-ttfutils.tpm and ttf2afm.1 to the source package
(Closes: #402983) (Closes also ubuntu #75545)
  * reinclude pslatex script and its manpage into texlive-base-bin.
