Thank you for caring, but actually we have already analysed the problem
in a separate bugreport (that was #427562) and added a workaround
(that's why the bug was closed).

But it's very good that you reminded me - the underlying problem is
still there and should be brought up somewhen on the upstream mailing
list.  That's why I'm reopening a clone of the bug with the analysis,
and merging this one with it.
