Hm, I can reproduce that:
$ dpkg -l latex
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed
|/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name Version Description
+++-========================-========================-================================================================
un latex <none> (no description available)
How can I find out which package causes this? Maybe just something
which still Suggests or Recommends it?
Regards, Frank
