Bug#408263: 408263: ucfr chatter in tex-common--does it matter?

Do these messages indicate that some part of the installation of
tex-common failed?  My concern is not with the ultimate cause of the
bug, which apparently is in ucf, but of its consequences for tex.

If everything is not OK, is there anything I can do to clean things up?
