Exactly. The problem I described in the mail you referred to is the one
that can happen when downgrading lmodern from 1.00 to a pre-1.00
version. But at the end of that mail, I said it could also happen when
upgrading lmodern from a pre-1.00 version to 1.00. And it looks like it
is exactly what happened to Nis.
