Yes, I did not care before but I was using the experimental version of
libpoppler0c2 and libpoppler0c2-glib (probably taken by error when I
install the modular xorg)

Downgrading these two packages to the unstable version makes pdflatex
compilation to work.

I will reassign the bug to poopler and tag it experimental.

Yes, here is a minimal tex file (with a pdf file to include).
