Okay, I've done an other upload, and here come some more details. I
suspect that it is in fact a list problem, since this time I am sure
that I, the uploader, did not get any mails personally. Not any. Let's
take the most sever bug closed by that upload:

As I said, I didn't get the mail mentioned, and there wasn't any on
debian-tetex-maint@l.d.o which is listed in the Maintainer field.
I have no idea how the BTS automatic closing works, so I can't help you
with any IP addresses or such. The message ID of the message sent to
the BTS by katie is <E1FM2Vg-0000g5-7h@spohr.debian.org>.
