??? I can't believe that the NEW 10lmodern.cfg is already present in
this location?

Installed: 0.92-7
dpkg -i ...0.99.3-1
calling preinst from .0.99.3-1
at this point the 10lmodern.cfg from 0.99.3-1 is in usr/share/lmodern/???
