Very good, thank you, nice patch - obviously other people can understand
this patch system, too. Just the patch to debian/rules was unnecessary,
because this file is generated from debian/rules.in where no version is
hardcoded.

I'll do that. Are these names for kfreebsd Debian-specific, or is it
from upstream libtool/whoever?
