Thanks for spotting this, it's now #320061.

The warning is from dpkg in the install phase, and we rm -rf it in
postinst - there's no way around this. (We can't nuke it in preinst,
because if the unpacking fails for some reason, dpkg restores the old
version which needs the directory).

I planned to announce it later, when it's in unstable. But if there's a
good occasion now, go ahead and drop the apt line.
