Package: tetex-bin
Version: 2.0.2-15
Severity: important
While upgrading, I got a debconf note asking me about "language.dat".
There is one sentence which I find unclear (I am not a native speaker,
so excuse if this is perfectly fine english):
If you do not choose this, we will enable one nearly all available
patterns.
s/one/once/ ???
=46rom the context, "one" could also be ommited. A clarification would
be great, IMHO.
Also I'd suggest making two paragraphs:
If you choose it ,...
If you don't choose it, ...
Then the reader is clearly able to distinguish the consequences of
both options.
I chose "yes" because I wanted to be asked, but I did not get asked.
Ok, let's try again:
thirtyto:~# dpkg-reconfigure tetex-bin
It clearly says:
If you do not choose this, we will enable one nearly all available
patterns.=20
Ok, if I do *not* choose it, it will do something automatically. =3D=3Dno
Choose it if you want to deselect some patterns.
If I choose it, then *I* can do some action. Choosing=3Dyes
Ah, now if I press "yes" I can choose the "Silbentrennung" (I think
the english term is hyphenation). Is this
the language.dat file? (I did not get this screen on the first run).
Btw. IIRC you keep your debconf-files in a publicly accessible CVS? If
you include the adress in your reply, I'll update it for german for
the next upload.
The version noted below is wrong, becaus I type it as I upgrade.
