If this was a bug, and not a hardware error, it must be in a different
package, because we do not include a format for pdfxmltex.
As for the suggestions to change the wording of NEWS.Debian, I have
followed your proposal, and applied the following patch. I think I can
close the bug with the next upload.
Hyphenation patterns
