No problem.

So I would propose that one of the next tetex versions removes all the
config files, moves all the map files back to /u/s/texmf/fonts/map, and
creates a subdir /etc/texmf/tetex for configuration files.

And I will start with switching tests tetex -> texlive -> tetex ->
texlive.
