Which files do you mean? I only see changelog and
changelog.Debian.experimental, and the latter is explained in the first
entry for 3.0 changelog:

| tetex-bin (3.0-9) unstable; urgency=low
|
| * Upload new upstream release to unstable. The changelog of the
| versions in experimental is available in
| changelog.Debian.experimental.gz.

I did that because I think the many revisions in experimental are not
intersting (but instead confusing) for the average person looking at the
changelog, and I had to edit it anyway (because the unstable uploads
since December 04 were missing from the changelog in the experimental
branch).
