Bug#334884: bugs.debian.org: Closed bugs marked as outstanding, bugs in wrong distribution
Package: bugs.debian.org
Severity: normal
While I write this,
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?which=pkg&data=tetex-bin&archive=no&version=&dist=unstable
displays, among others, the following information:
Outstanding bugs -- Grave functionality bugs; Unclassified (3 bugs)
* #334613: tetex-bin: fmtutil-sys fails during package package setup
Package: tetex-bin (tetex-bin 3.0-9); Severity: grave; Reported by: Samuel Mimram <smimram@debian.org>.
* #334701: can't install tetex-bin 2.0.2-31 due to /usr/share/man/man1/texi2pdf.1.gz
Package: tetex-bin (tetex-bin 2.0.2-31); Severity: grave; Reported by: Vincent Lefevre <vincent@vinc17.org>.
* #334713: tetex-bin: package doesn't install because of missing mfw binary
Package: tetex-bin (tetex-bin 3.0-9); Severity: grave; Reported by: Florian Cramer <cantsin@zedat.fu-berlin.de>.
Outstanding bugs -- Serious policy violations; Unclassified (1 bug)
* #334005: builds libkpathsea3 which is also built by libkpathsea3
Package: tetex-bin (tetex-bin 2.0.2-31; fixed: tetex-bin 3.0-9); Severity: serious; Reported by: Ryan Murray <rmurray@debian.org>
Done: Frank Küster <frank@debian.org>; Will be archived in 27 days.
The last of the bugs above (#334005) is marked as fixed and "will be
archived", but because of this it should *not* be displayed as
outstanding, but as "Resolved".
The second of these bugs (#334701) has been reported on an unstable
system while for this particular system 2.0.2-31 was still available,
but at a time where the Debian archive contained the buggy version only
in testing, not in unstable (which has 3.0-9). This was somewhen between
late Tuesday and early Wednesday. I think this bug should not be
displayed on the bugs page for unstable.
Furthermore,
Regards, Frank
