Bug#330078: latex points to etex, not to tex

I guess I have forgotten to give /experimental to apt-get...

No, tex-common was only removed.

However now I purged tex-common, jadetex, tetex-base, tetex-bin and
tetex-extra, reinstalled the last three packages and latex is still
not functioning. :-(

There was no error.  "kpsewhich latex.fmt" outputs
/var/lib/texmf/web2c/latex.fmt.
