cm-super for Debian, problems with tetex

Hi Mickael!, HI Frank!

I have repackaged cm-super for Debian, you can find it at
	deb http://www.tug.org/texlive/Debian/ cm-super/
	deb-src http://www.tug.org/texlive/Debian/ cm-super/
It works with current texlive (with Replaces, as the current texlive
packages contain a stripped down version of cm-super).

Furthermore it Replaces pts-tex-cm-super, as the package is completely
replaced. Should I add a Conflicts?

ATM the packages *ONLY* depends on texlive-basic, as there is a serious
problem with the current tetex packages: They don't provide ecrm* (etc)
TFM (!) files.

Frank, did I miss something in this?

Mickael: I don't want to take over the package from you, I just have
made a normal release 0.3.3-1 (for cm-super) with my name as Maintainer,
otherwise lintian cries out about NMU etc etc. Please take whatever you
want and change it!

THe package is currently compatible with the current TeX policy, but
fonts are not installed for X/OOo/fontconfig. Nor ar the afm files
installed.

Furthermore, I changed back to plainly install the pfb files and not the
cm-super.t1c. I see this as a bit of an overhead, not necessary.

Ah yes, the upload should be finished this afternoon, so don't go and
grab it immedieately.

What you can grab already is the cm-super_0.3.3-1.diff.gz which works
ontop of the files as got from CTAN.

Best wishes

Norbert

No I didn't. For what offence?'

`What do you mean, offence?'
`I see.'
