Re: tex-common_0.3_i386.changes ACCEPTED

Hi Frank, hi all!

I am back from some conferences and have exchanged my hard drive of my
laptop, so now I have space to work on TeXlive/Debian.

In some discussion about the entries for the map files Hans Hagen
suggsted the following:

From: Hans Hagen <pragma@wxs.nl>

anyhow, the more generic approach is then:

TEXFONTMAPS =
.;$TEXMF/fonts/map/{$progname,pdftex,dvips,}//;$TEXMF/{$progname,pdftex,dvips}/{config,}//
ENCFONTS  =
.;$TEXMF/fonts/enc/{$progname,pdftex,dvips,}//;$TEXMF/{$progname,pdftex,dvips}/{config,}//

or cleaner:

TEXFONTMAPS = .;$TEXMF/{fonts/map,}/{$progname,pdftex,dvips,}//
ENCFONTS    = .;$TEXMF/{fonts/enc,}/{$progname,pdftex,dvips,}//

i.e. there is no reason to limit this to dvips

What do you think about adjusting the entries in tex-common for this? It
is a superset of the ones currently in tex-common.

Best wishes

Ah, " said Arthur, "this is obviously some strange usage
