Funny extra .need_me files in tetex-base

I've just built tetex-base 2.0.2c-8 to upload to fix the ivritex
issue.  But running debdiff on -7 as compared to -8 says:

Since nothing's changed in the diffs in this respect, does anyone have
a clue what's going on here?
