Bug#269828: tetex-base: Provide script to purge old map files--already there?
Silly me. Moments after sending the bug, I noticed
/usr/share/doc/tetex-base/remove-oldmaps. That perhaps answers the
request.
However, is it current? The fact that the README doesn't refer to it
seems odd.
Additionally, as far as I can tell it doesn't do anything the Debian
conffiles registration. As I mentioned in the first message, it
sounds as if that might be appropriate.
Finally, the file is not executable.
It may be the only part of the wish left is for some documentation
enhancements.
