Bug#265247: tetex-bin: package fails to install
>Sorry for late response: we were fixing other grave bugs.
Not a problem at all :)
>What puzzles me here is, that CUR_LDAT is not set at all.
Hmm, I've tried `dpkg --configure tetex-bin`, and you're right, CUR_LDAT
isn't actually defined/set at any point...
>/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/language.dat
>/etc/texmf/language.dat
The above to files don't exist....
> and is contained in the tetex-bin package.
Doing a little poking around in tetex-bin_2.0.2-17_i386.deb;
[nemesis@saturn] ~/tmp$ find . -iname "language.dat"
./usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/language.dat
So it appears that language.dat is in the tetex-bin package.. but not where
you expected it.
[nemesis@saturn] ~/tmp$ ls /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/
fontmath.cfg fonttext.cfg language.dat preload.cfg
And indeed, it's been put there.
> Did you build the packages yourself?
Nope, just did a simple apt-get install.

[nemesis@saturn] ~$ df

Plenty of space free.

Out of interest, is there a way to select the language patterns manually?
e.g. `dpkg --configure tetex-lang` or something ?
