Package: tetex-doc
Version: 2.0.2-8
Severity: minor

The file /usr/share/doc/texmf/latex/graphics/grfguide.ps.gz is made with
bitmap fonts instead of scalable version of the CM fonts. Makes it hard
to read on screen.

Because it looks ugly in gv, without anti-aliasing and with
anti-aliasing. This used to be a sure sign of bitmap fonts that scale
poorly to screen.

I stand corrected. Either ghostscript now renders a lot uglier than it
used to, or my eyes are suffering. xpdf does a much better job at
grfguide.pdf, so it might be ghostscript. Anyway, the fault is not in
grfguide at all. Sorry.

Bye,
