tetex-extra does not have algorithm and algorithmic.sty 

I could not find the algorith.sty not the algorithmic.sty packages in
tetex-extra, tetex-base and tetex-bin 

I was forced to reintall my computer and now I lack these packages

A search in the Online CTAN catalogue (http://www.ctan.org/find.html)
gives a couple of hits, some of them with free licenses, and some
included in teTeX (and some for sure false positives).

But since I never used these styles (except for the false positives), or
the algorithm style, I can't tell which should be recommended. If you've
found that out, please submit an other wishlist bug. If it comes with a
ready text, it'l promptly be fixed.
