This still applies for tetex-beta. I don't know about "others",
however. And the texdoctk script says:=20

But I couldn't find any README file specific for texdoctk.

A possible line for listings could be:

listings; Typeset source code listings using LaTeX(listings);latex/listings=
/listings.dvi;
