Not true -- I've got a reaction. However I never replied as I didn't
have the time. That was in August of last year.
Further they said, that they plan to reconstruct their home page.
However he didn't say that they plan to change the license.

On the one hand I can understand that statement. On the other hand it
makes these packages undistributable together with teTeX.

Exactly. Either we tell Springer to change the license into a free
one and include it into the packages itself or we simply close that
bug as we can't put these packages into teTeX.
I guess the first is unrealistic. So I propose the latter.
