While working on the packages for the tetex-beta for 3.0, I have
implemented this - at least for the files in tetex-base and
tetex-extra. I think it will be quite straightforward to backport this
to tetex-2.0.2, but it will for sure take some working time.

At the moment I still have hope that tetex will be released early
enough, and that sarge will be late enough for us to make packages
ready. Therefore I would like to postpone this backporting until it is
clear that it is needed at all. But if anyone else is interested - I'll
upload the beta packages tomorrow to http://people.debian.org/~frank,
the code's in there

(By the way, the sid-to-sid upgrade works well, too.)

Regards, Frank
