Bug#225004: tetex-extra: Type1 fonts should be in a separate package

Hi all,

I suspect we don't need to be so haste on this issue.
I feel it difficult to catch up with your discussion.

Please let me show my guess with your discussion.

About package name; I doubt xfonts-tetex is reasonable.
It seemd xfonts-* packages generally contain pcf(?) fonts
but not pfb fonts.

civic:~$ dpkg -S .pcf.gz | grep -v xfonts | awk '{print $1}' | sort | uniq
jfbterm:
kcontrol:
unifont:
civic:~$ dpkg -S .pfb | grep -v tetex | awk '{print $1}' | sort | uniq
ewblib: <- neglect this, non-official package
gsfonts-x11:
gsfonts:
tipa:
xfonts-scalable:

Further, the same kind of package, gsfonts-x11, tells me

civic:~$ apt-cache show gsfonts-x11
Package: gsfonts-x11
(snip)
Description: Make Ghostscript fonts available to X11

I guess a similar Description might be better than
Description: TeX-Type1-fonts for XFree

(Yes, I recognized that in long description it was
explained clearly.)

This nature also proves that xfonts-tetex is not so
reasonable, IMHO.
