That the message doesn't go away automatically after a certain time
(10 seconds) is a known bug in the event handling in 22.40; it has
been fixed in the current version (22.77.x).
However there's still no special handling for `page-specific'
messages; currently all messages are just shown for a certain duration
and then erased. For the time being, I've changed `on this page' to
`on page x' in the message to make it clearer what page the message
refers to.
