When I updated tetex from testing to unstable, it removed
/etc/texmf/dvips/updmap during preconfiguration. After this, pxfonts
was to be removed because it conflicts with the new tetex-base. This
failed due to pxfonts.prerm not being able to cope with the missing
config file. From pxfonts.prerm (line 24):

    cfgfile=/etc/texmf/dvips/updmap

    if [ -f ${cfgfile} ] ; then
	sed -e '/pxr2.map/d' < ${cfgfile} > \
	    ${cfgfile}_$$ && mv -f ${cfgfile}_$$ ${cfgfile}
	cd /etc/texmf/dvips && sh ${cfgfile}
    fi
    chmod +x ${cfgfile}

Swapping the chmod and the fi line of course fixed it. However, as this
version of pxfonts is also in stable, I don't know if it can be changed
to fix the updating process; maybe something needs to be done in the new
tetex packages instead.

Regards,
Daniel
