that's clearly not the case for whole tetex-base. Also, you should look
up the meaning of the tag "sid".

This description is _very_ terse and not completely correct. In fact the
a0poster files are in tetex-src instead of tetex-base (or extra), as
indicated in the subject, and thus are installed under
/usr/share/texmf/source/latex/ instead of
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/. It's an upstream problem.
