where to put user documentation

I intend to package two LaTeX packages (CTAN:graphics/pgf +
contrib/beamer) which both contain extensive user documentation (tex and
pdf files). 

Where should I put these documentation files:
- in the texmf tree
- in /usr/share/doc/PKG-NAME
