Thank you, this one seems to work all right, but unfortunately, it was only one of
the problems I had, namely the easiest to describe. It has not much to
do with the tif files, so I think we coud close this bug.
The other problem concerns a customized sty-file for creating slides,
which is based upon the "seminar"-class. When I use pdflatex from the
stable distribution, everything works all right, but if I use the one
from the testing, the slides appear small in the middle of a rather big
page. Unfortunately, I do not know exactly where the problem lies. I
have also tested it with the unstable distribution with the same result.
