Bug#111983: tetex-bin: xdvi exits when clicking on a hyperlink to a non-existing file

(FWIW, latest xdvi is 22.76.1, not 22.40v from tetex-bin
2.0.2-4.1).

Errm, indeed, I had only tested with 22.39, which still gave an
error. Obviously that's a new bug introduced between 22.39 and
22.40f. (Background: The entire hyperref handling in 22.4x was
hopelessly broken and was reimplemented from scratch in 22.7x,
without libwww. This probably means that all non-fatal hyperref
bugs in 22.4x which don't also occur in 22.7x should be treated
as `wontfix').

This, however, is rather strange. Were the files that you created
in the same directory as the test DVI file? (Note that the
handling of files without or with unknown extension is also
utterly wrong in 22.4x, since they will be treated as DVI files -
see above ... however, it should work OK with the links in e.g.
TETEXDOC.dvi).
