Package: tetex-bin
Version: 2.0.1-2
Severity: important

The dvipdfm command fails for documents containing ot1r encoded
fonts (especially math fonts), which makes it essentially useless
for processing scientific documents. The old stand-alone dvipdfm
package worked without problems.

The culprit for the failure seems to be a missing file ot1r.enc. The
file appears to be available in dvipdfm-cjk, which cannot be installed.

Here's a minimal example, say, t.tex:
\documentclass{article}\begin{document}test\end{document}

$ latex t
[...]
$ dvipdfm t

t.dvi -> t.pdf
[1
Can't find encoding file: ot1r

Output file removed.

Okay. It is not so rare that teTeX rearranged structures
etc. of original one.

Not at all. So I close the bug.

Thanks for your interest in tetex packages.
