Bug#223728: tetex-bin needn't depend on xlibs

Package: tetex-bin
Version: 2.0.2-5.1
Tags: patch

The attached patch splits off separate xdvi, texdoctk, and
metafont-xterm-support packages from tetex-bin, leaving tetex-bin free of
xfree86 dependencies. I am sure that this has been debated before, but I
am of the opinion that tetex-bin ought not to pull in xlibs or perl-tk,
both for sysadmin reasons (ability to run TeX on a machine where X11 is
not desired) and to allow xfree86 to be built without pulling old xlibs
into the build chroot. The patch adds no new lintian/linda issues. A
corresponding bug/patch is being filed against tetex-base to split off the
texdoctk-data package referenced by texdoctk.

There is one infelicity in this patch; it duplicates the mf manpage in
order to work around dh_compress's current failure to "compress" a symlink
foo.1 -> bar.1 to foo.1.gz -> bar.1.gz if bar.1 is not in the same
package. I opted for a dumb but lintian/linda-clean approach (ship a copy
of the mf manpage in metafont-xterm-support as mfw.1.gz). There is
probably a "standard" way of dealing with this that I don't know about.

Thanks for considering this, and I apologize if I am beating a dead horse.
