	Neither can I, but I can no longer reproduce the behaviour.  As
you can see from the sh -vx log, kpsewhich did break.  Therefore, I can
only presume two possiblities:

1) Fairies showed up in the middle of the night, and fixed the postinst.

2) I installed / configured / deleted something else so that kpsewhich
   actually found what it was looking for.

	I did try apt-get --reinstall install libkpathsea3, so that
might have done it.  But I cannot be sure.
