Package: tetex-base
Version: 1.0.2+20021025-5
Severity: normal

I discovered that one indirectly by looking at the build daemon log for o=
ne
of my packages (lifelines) on ARM.

http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=3Dlifelines&ver=3D3.0.24-2&arch=3D=
arm&stamp=3D1042041037&file=3Dlog&as=3Draw

As lifelines needs tetex for geing compiled, it is installed before tryin=
g
to compile. This installation seems to fail at the postinst script time :

.../...
Setting up tetex-base (1.0.2+20021025-5) ...
Generating /etc/texmf/updmap.cfg ... done
/var/lib/dpkg/info/tetex-base.postinst: line 70: 23093 Killed/usr/bin/upd=
map
--cnffile ${MAPCFG} --outputdir /etc/texmf/dvips 2>${MAPTEMP}
dpkg: error processing tetex-base (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 137
.../...

Information below is about *my* system, thus probably irrelevant to this =
bug
report...

The reported package version is the one which was tried to be installed o=
n
the ARM autobuilder.
