Package: tetex-src
Version: 1.0.2+20011202-1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

tetex-src contains two copies of the mathcomp files, one set in
their own directory, and one set mixed with the files for the
prettyref package:

   tetex-src-1.0.2+20011202/latex/prettyref/mathcomp.dtx
   tetex-src-1.0.2+20011202/latex/prettyref/mathcomp.ins
   tetex-src-1.0.2+20011202/latex/mathcomp/mathcomp.dtx
   tetex-src-1.0.2+20011202/latex/mathcomp/mathcomp.ins
   tetex-src-1.0.2+20011202/latex/mathcomp/tetex.ins
   tetex-src-1.0.2+20011202/latex/mathcomp/Makefile.tetex

This problem may originate in the upstream sources.

Hi, there is no duplication any more as

~$ dpkg -L tetex-src | grep mathcomp
/usr/share/texmf/source/latex/mathcomp
/usr/share/texmf/source/latex/mathcomp/mathcomp.dtx
/usr/share/texmf/source/latex/mathcomp/mathcomp.ins
/usr/share/texmf/source/latex/mathcomp/tetex.ins
/usr/share/texmf/source/latex/mathcomp/Makefile.tetex
~$

so I close this.
