Bug#168080: tetex-bin: xdvi problems with line-wrapped hyperlinks
Package: tetex-bin
Version: 1.0.7+20011202-8
Severity: normal
Create a DVI file that has hyperlinks spanning lines. For example,
one like the following, where numbers are hyperlinks, and other
characters are ordinary text:
/--------
| Xxxxx xx 11111111 xxxx 222222222222222 3333333333333333333 4444444
| 44444444 55555555555 66666 xxxx
\--------
Viewing this in xdvi, it interprets the above as
/--------
| 444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444
| 444444444555554555554666664444444444444444444444444444444444444444
\--------
making the first 3 links inaccessible.
In general, it seems to use the total bounding rectangle of the
wrapped link, overriding earlier (in text order) links and being
overridden by later links.
