Bug#123979: tetex-doc: current version

"DH" == Dennis Haney <davh@davh.dk>

DH> Current version 3.20, and not 3.30 as stated
DH> above. However that doesnt change the fact that the newest
DH> version is almost 3 years newer than the one included in
    DH> debian tetex dist.

The reality is that there hasn't been an official teTeX release
since the one that Debian's packages are based on. Thomas Esser
has been working on assembling material (and I sent him mail
drawing his attention to lshort being out of date); when he makes
an official release, Debian's source will be updated and new
packages will be built.

For whatever reason, we've been going on the basis that we won't
make significant changes to our source tree (such as updating
LaTeX packages) unless those changes are made upstream. I tend to
think that we should make such changes so that we can have the
best possible teTeX distribution, even if it's slightly out of
sync with Thomas's official distribution, but we haven't had a
discussion about that approach.

Now that woody is out, and we have our source in CVS, it should be
possible to maintain more than one version of the packages.
