Checksum mismatch: tetex-extra using Palatino font
I have recently migrated from stable potato 2.2r6 to
testing woody 3.0. "xdvi" on my existing latex file
resulted in the following messages.
Checksum mismatch (dvi = 3767151143, vf = 2621612299)
in font file
/usr/share/texmf/fonts/vf/adobe/palatino/zppler7y.vf

"dvips" produces similar messages. I have
\usepackage{palatino, mathpple}
at the beginning of my document. Very simple document
do not exhibit these messages. I'm sorry I am unable
to produce a minimal document to demonstrate the
problem at the moment, but I'm working on that.
What is that message means? How to make them go away?
