Package: tetex-bin
Version: 1.0.7+20011202-2
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
When I use in preamble the command \hyphenation{pa-la-vra} to teach
TeX how to hyphen "palavra", it works ok. But when the word that I want
to teach it how to hyphen has some international chars, like ã,ç,ü,õ,
then it does not work. I'd like it to work.
Thanks,
Pedro

Hi folks,
Thanks for the "\catcode" hint, but that wasn't the problem.
"\hyphenation" command works well with 8-bit chars, if there is this
preamble in the document:
\documentclass[12pt,a4paper]{article}
\usepackage[latin1]{inputenc}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage[portuges,brazilian]{babel}
I wasn't using the "fontenc", so it wasn't working...
Thanks,
Pedro
