trying to make pdfs from my docbook source, pdfjadetex dies with the
following error before completing:
This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159-1.00a-pretest-20011114-ojmw (Web2C 7.3.7)
(Fatal format file error; I'm stymied)

Windows NT 4.0 systems must have Service pack 6 installed. TheWebLogin applet requires Sun Java Webstart v 1.0.1 or newer and eitherMicrosoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or newer with java enabled.</PARA>

<PARA>We assume that you are at a workstation where the 7M Aspire clientsoftware has already been installed, and that you have been assigned auser identity in your organization's 7M Aspire system.</PARA>

<TITLE>Logging in</TITLE>
<PARA>You log on to the 7M Aspire system by typing or choosing the 7M Aspireserver URL in your Web browser.</PARA>
<PARA>Start a web browser and open the URL <USERINPUT>http://<masterserver>[:<port>]</USERINPUT>. If youradministrator chose adifferent port than port 80 for the 7M Aspire HTTP service during theinstallation, you need to sypply the port number here. If the serveroffers more than one client option, choose the one which isappropriate for your computer. Your administrator mayhave set up your workstation with a 7M Aspire shortcut icon on yourdesktop.</PARA>
<IMPORTANT>
<TITLE>Java and Webstart required</TITLE>
<PARA>The weblogin applet, which is part of the desktop client, requires theJava Plug-in version 1.3 to run. This software is part of the Sun JREversion 1.3 and the JDK version 1.3. In addition, Sun Java Webstart v1.0.1 or newer is required. If Webstart is not installed on your system,you can use the <GUILABEL>Install Java Web Start</GUILABEL> link on the7M Aspire login page to download and install the software.</PARA>
