Bug#121129: xdvi: doesn't appear to respect mfMode resource setting
Package: tetex-bin
Version: 1.0.7+20001218-6
When I run xdvi, it seems to ignore the fact that I have specified
mode ljfour in my app-defaults file (using texconfig). I think I can
guess what the problem is:
xdvi first reads /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/XDvi (symlink to
/etc/X11/app-defaults/XDvi) and sees the mode I've specified via
texconfig.
Then it checks the resources in my environment. But, oh no! The old
/etc/X11/Xresources/tetex-base file is still there and screwing things
up! Any chance of doing something about it, like removing it or
renaming it to something like /etc/X11/Xresources/tetex-base.old so it
won't cause any harm?
