Uploading a package that should be pulled back when babel 3.7 is debianized?

This essentially meant to ask when babel 3.7 is expected to be 
debianized.

I have a hebrew-latex package at my Debian home page 
(http://people.debian.org/~shaul) for several months now. I have not 
uploaded it to Debian main archive since as far as I know such a 
package will not be necessary with babel 3.7.
Is that wise? I do not know when babel 3.7 is expected to be debianized 
and i can always pull the package back when it does.

BTW: If you tested or use the package, do drop me a line.
