Package: tetex-bin
Version: 1.0.6-7

When compiling a somewhat complex but reasonable file, I get the
following error:

  ! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [main memory size=263001].
  \dosplineplotpt@ ...ox {\setboxz@h {\splineconn@ }
                                                    \Drop@@ }\fi \splinetrace@...
  l.627 &&&&\ar@/^.5pc/[uuuuu]\msf j }

  Output written on rigid.dvi (6 pages, 63376 bytes).
  Transcript written on rigid.log.

Does that mean that LaTeX was dumped with a memory size of a quarter
of a meg? Could this be increased?

(When consulting a colleague about a workaround, his advice was ``use
Windows''.  Right.)

Regards,

                                        Juliusz Chroboczek

Edit /etc/texmf/texmf.cnf and then run texconfig init. (Search for
the line containing "Part 3: Array and other sizes".)
