Bug#82227: tetex-extra pre-depends on orphaned package dpkg-perl

Package: tetex-extra
Version: 1.0.2+20000804-4

tetex-extra has a
  Pre-Depends: dpkg-perl

However, dpkg-perl (dpkg-scriptlib) has been orphaned for over
160 days.  There is no one currently maintaining this package,
and according to some dpkg experts this package should be
removed from Debian as soon as possible.

Please, can you drop the Pre-Depends on this package so dpkg-perl
can be removed.  I don't know how much effort it will be to drop
this dependency, but it's necessary.
