Ok, I think the bug report was too short here's what happens: jsf@dep3$ xdvi ~ /usr/bin/xdvi: xdvi.bin: command not found What's happening is that the shell script that xdvi is is trying to run xdvi.bin, which doesn't exist and I gather should be a sim-link to /etc/alternatives/xdvi.bin. Or maybe I wrecked my configuration somehow after installing tetex-bin, but I don't think that's likely. Jorge Santos
