Hmm.  This isn't a jadetex bug.  I think it's a tetex-extra bug.

I mean, its conceivable you might wanna build the dvi on one machine
and view it with another.  Anyhow, JadeTeX doesn't reference this
stuff directly -- it's tetex-extra that has
/usr/share/texmf/fonts/tfm/adobe/times/ptmri8r.tfm .

Should I reassign this bug to tetex-extra?
