Package: tetex-bin
Version: 1.0.6.7
Severity: normal

tetex-bin should register a menu entry for xdvi, probably in
Apps/Viewers

Best regards,

Bill.

The problem you report is fixed in later versions of tetex-bin,
available in woody. The current version is 1.0.7+20000807, and
includes a tetex-bin menu file in /usr/lib/menu:

?package(tetex-bin):\
  needs=x11\
  section=Apps/Viewers\
  title="XDvi"\
  command="/usr/bin/X11/xdvi"
